When we look to the night sky, it appears that not much is happening in space, in stark contrast to the buzzing frenzy of life on Earth. The stars shine a constant light, they move around in predictable patterns, and not much else happens outside of the odd comet or shooting star.

~~ Since the 1960s, we have been staring at the night sky with space telescopes that observe not ordinary light, but X-rays.
